Shall I Of Want Be Suitable For You

20 Feb

Let no man touch soft this heart,
that you have but in wanting laid
open and in perspective of caress,
a feeling of dying within his arms;
for no man has woman’s remorse,
that he has not felt sane of himself;
let only he who has made empathic
rounds of inherent steadfast worth,
that justly be suited to your needs,
and by default, has no companion,
yet should he be equal to your cast;
and if my brazen modesty dare allow,
should I be him, for all your seasons,
that in your countenance now shown,
would I be as brave to lend credence
to the prowess of caress I now offer,
and would you, tender, hold my heart.
