Words are indigenous to human beings.  No other species on earth has a need for letters that form a combined structure for verbal or written language.  But, despite the inherent need for words and their common, everyday usage, few humans are able to actually master words.  It is come to a time in our modern world in which we must send out our message en masse, in order to reach only a few who may understand.  I write these words, not to inspire or communicate, but to send this cosmic rhetoric out to the spiritual void.  Even if no living soul ever reads my words, perhaps it is enough for me that they are written.

This is so beautifully written that I absolutely have no words at all to describe the feeling your words left me with. Especially the last line left me breathless. I could absolutely relate to it. I’m glad that in this world exist at least one soul who feel the same as me about urge which drive me to write. Thank you, Daniel. To say that your blog is beautiful is not nearly enough. You are a bright new shining star on this beautiful WordPress sky. 🙂

Daniel, the art you’ve chosen for your poems is very interesting. Are these all works of yours?

No… just pictures I’ve collected over the years. I try to credit paintings when necessary, but as yet have not put that into the files.

Very well stated. Through the tides and storms of history there are those that understood language and the written word as an art. The arts are often the only evidence of our humanity. Nowhere is that more evident than in the words we leave behind. I have no true talent at writing but I’m stubborn and refuse to give up.
